Special Offers at Special Events

We are proud to present a variety of special events throughout the year to engage residents in our communities and provide an opportunity to get together with neighbours and friends.

  • Easter Egg Hunt
  • Spring Clean-up
  • Neighbour Day
  • And much more!

A Voice on Planning and Development Issues

The community association makes every effort to keep track of all planning and development proposals in our area. This includes residential development, park and facilities improvements, mobility of all kinds (pedestrian, cycling, vehicular), playground development and enhancement, etc.

The community association regularly consults with and provides ideas and opinions to the City of Calgary on planning and development issues. We are a strong voice for our citizens at City Hall and with Chinook Mall.

Access to Facilities and Rentals

The Community Hall is available for rental to community association members and the general public, but with a community membership, you will qualify for an additional discount.

The building has two halls (upper and lower) and two Alberta Health-approved kitchens for rental. We host various activities and events, including weddings, dance/yoga classes, birthday parties, and community group meetings.

Only Meadowlark Park community residents are eligible to use the Hockey Shack Lounge.

Representation on Regional Committees and Initiatives

Community association delegates represent the community on regional issues of interest, such as major parks, major infrastructure projects, development at Chinook Mall and social/special interest groups. Members receive news on what's happening in the area that might affect them.

Improving the Quality of Life

The community association is managed by a dedicated group of volunteers who donate their time to improve the quality of life for everyone in the community. Share the feeling of community pride by showing your support through membership!
