ReportsMeadowlark residents are always alert for miscreant behaviour in the neighbourhood, and because of this we face a minimum of trouble.
However, there are always problems to be aware of.

Vandalism at the community hall
The community hall was hit by vandals during the week of April 28th, resulting in damage to downspouts on the hockey shack. They were torn off the wall and thrown away.
The hall manager was nearby at the time, and followed footprints in the snow to the location of three male youths who were loitering in the community. The community President also joined the discussion, and at that time the youths decided to run away. The police were called and the youths were apprehended.
Be on the alert for these youths. There is good reason to suppose that they may be responsible for a number of acts of spray-paint vandalism to various structures in the community as well. They were also witnessed attempting to gain access to a garage, likely for the purposes of theft.
If you spot these youths, or anyone else loitering in the community, do not hesitate to call the police by dialling 9-1-1.
Let us know about any incidents in the community that you witness or of which you are a victim. We'll post them here (excluding names and actual addresses) so that everyone can know what sort of thing to watch for.
